Pasar Tiban Kalibata Selalu Ramai Pengunjung
Jakarta - Pasar tiban, atau pasar musiman, istilah untuk menjelaskan pasar yang musiman, tidak punya tempat menetap. Ada juga istilah pasar malam, pasar tumpah atau pasar kaget. Biasanya pasar ini mengambil waktu tertentu misalnya: bulan puasa, atau hari tertentu yang libur. Pasar tiban di Kalibata ‘buka’ tiap hari minggu.
Bermacam-macam barang dijajakan, mulai dari pakaian, mainan anak-anak, sepatu, tas, tanaman hias, jajan pasar, peralatan rumah tanggga, sprei, parfum, buku dan majalah bekas, pigura, dll. Semua dengan harga murah. Pasar ini mengambil tempat sepanjang jalan dari menuju Stasiun Kalibata sampai depan STEKPI, samping periumahan DPR RI Kalibata.
Pasar ini awalnya tidak begitu ramai. Waktu itu setiap hari minggu di danau Taman Makam pahlawan (TMP) Kalibata banyak orang yang melakukan olah raga pagi. Muda-mudi paling banyak. Hukum ekonomi berjalan, di mana ada keramaian selalu ada yang menggunakan peluang. Maka ada orang jualan bubur ayam, lontong sayur, ketoprak dan lainnya. Mengambil tempat sempit di depan gerbang parkir TMP.
Lama-lama ada yang berjualan pakaian, mainan, poster, dan lainnya. Semakin banyak yang berjualan dan mengambil tempat di sepanjang jalan depan TMP. Di sini mulai ada masalah, kemacetan. Mungkin karena pengunjung semakin banyak, membuat kemacetan, pasar ‘dipindah’ ke dalam. Hingga sekarang. Sebenarnya tidak tahu dipindah atau pindah sendiri, mungkin pihak berwenang berprinsip, yang penting tidak mebuat jalan macet.
Jadilah seperti sekarang, pasar tiban menjadi hiburan sendiri untuk warga Kalibata, Pancoran, Pasar minggu dan sekitarnya. Tempatnya yang relatif jauh dari jalan raya, masih hijau, memang enak buat jalan-jalan. Setelah lelah jalan-jalan melihat-lihat barang, tersedia berbagai warung yang meyediakan berbagai menu, tinggal pilih: Nasi uduk, lontong sayur, nasi rames, mendowan, bubur ayam, pecel lele, warung Padang, warung Sunda. Juga minuman, ada es tebu, Es Teh, es buah.
Penasaran, sempatkan hari muingggu ke Kalibata. Tersedia angkutan dari berbagai arah: Dari Blok M, naik Kopaja 57, Dari Cililitan kopaja 57/ Metrimini 64, dari Kampung melayu dan Pasar Minggu naik M16, dari Manggarai naik Metromini 62. Jangan lupa ajak keluarga, sekalian makan bersama di hari Minggu.
