Van Damme yang memerankan si jahat Jean Vilain dalam Expendables 2 mengungkap kepada PostMedia bahwa kesempatan yang didapat untuk bermain bersama kedua aktor idamannya itu sangatlah berharga.
"Aku selalu berharap untuk bisa membuat film bersama salah satu dari mereka. Kini aku bermain film bersama keduanya," ungkapnya. Ahli bela diri asal Belgia ini juga mengaku kagum dengan dedikasi Stallone dalam membuat film laga spektakuler ini (Expendables).
"Aku melihat pria dengan usia lebih dari 60 dan ia masih bisa menikmati apa yang ia lakukan. Aku bahagia kembali, ia (Stallone) membuatku cinta kepada film lagi," komentarnya.
