Ketua Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia Sofjan Wanandi mengatakan, banjir yang melanda Jakarta sepekan ini telah menimbulkan kerugian ekonomi yang cukup tinggi. Biaya bencana yang ditanggung untuk sekadar menyediakan makan bagi para pengungsi pun mencapai Rp 1 miliar lebih.
Hal itu disampaikan Sofjan, saat ditemui di area bencana banjir di Penjaringan, Jakarta Utara, Minggu (20/1/2013).
Sofjan menegaskan, tak bergeraknya roda ekonomi di Jakarta akibat bencana banjir menyebabkan kerugian lebih dari Rp 1 triliun. Aktivitas perdagangan menjadi tidak berjalan, dan kawasan Industri Pulogadung juga ikut lumpuh karena tak memperoleh suplai listrik akibat gardu listrik terendam banjir.
Negara importir pun, katanya, mulai mempertanyakan kapan Jakarta bisa pulih, karena ini sangat terkait dengan kegiatan ekspor komoditas keluar negeri dari seluruh daerah di Indonesia yang bertumpu di Jakarta.
”Importir itu mulai bertanya-tanya, kapan banjir di Jakarta bisa surut. Kendati mereka saat ini memahami Jakarta sedang dilanda bencana,” kata Sofjan. (sumber: kompas.com)
